Waterlily

Water Lily dahlias are prized for their elegant, open blooms that resemble the graceful flowers of a water lily. Their broad, slightly cupped petals are arranged in a balanced, symmetrical form, giving each bloom a soft, refined appearance.

Formal Decorative

Formal Decorative dahlias are admired for their perfectly symmetrical blooms and beautifully arranged petals. Each petal is broad, flat or slightly incurved, and evenly spaced, creating a full, refined flower with an elegant, almost sculpted appearance.

Informal Decorative

Informal Decorative dahlias are celebrated for their full, lush blooms and naturally relaxed form. Their broad petals are arranged in a less symmetrical pattern than Formal Decorative dahlias, often twisting or curving slightly to create a soft, flowing appearance full of movement and character.

Cactus & Semi-Cactus

Cactus dahlias are among the most dramatic and eye-catching of all dahlia types. Their long, narrow petals roll tightly backward for most of their length, creating striking, spiky blooms with exceptional texture and movement.

Ball

Ball dahlias are loved for their perfectly rounded, globe-shaped blooms made up of tightly arranged petals that curve inward to create a beautifully symmetrical flower. Their neat, geometric form gives them a polished appearance while still offering incredible colour and texture.
